    We are a family of 6. I know that Gratuity is automatically figured in when you have 6 or more in your party for a Table Service. My question is...is the Gratuity manditory that you pay the amount they say you owe? I have heard conflicting answers.

    I would like to welcome your family of 6 to Walt Disney World! With so many rides, attractions, restaurants and entertainment, you are sure to find something magical for each and every family member.

    An automatic 18% gratuity is added to parties of 6 or more when dining at a Table Service location (this includes buffets and family style dining as well). If for any reason your dining experience is less than exceptional, please ask for a manager to discuss any issues and your level of gratuity. I think you will find that the servers are outstanding and certainly earn their tips. I am always impressed with how promptly the servers approach tables, fill drinks, take orders, and serve up delicious meals. And they do it all with a magical smile!

    In preparation for the wonderful dining you will experience, make your Dining Reservations either online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. Some of the more popular locations such as Akershus Royal Banquet Hall or Chef Mickey's book up quickly, so make sure your plans are locked in as early as possible.
