Hi Moms, we are a family of 4 [kids6&7] visiting in may for 7 days and I am trying to plan our dinner meals in conjunction w/ which parks stay open late...is that the best way to do it to catch the fireworks and/ or parades?

Hi, Yvette,   If you plan to spend an evening in a certain theme park, that is where I would plan to have dinner.  That way, you won't feel rushed during a meal.  You can enjoy your dinner, walk outside, and experience the awesome shows that are planned without rushing from park to park.

What my family likes to do is plan a dinner on the early side, then when it gets closer to fireworks or parade time, we grab a snack.  This keeps them occupied while waiting and gives them a little boost of energy!

When you reach your 90 day booking window, make  your dining reservations at 407-WDW-DINE (407-934-3463.)  Also, keep checking the HERE for the park hours to be updated as you get closer to your magical vacation.  Have a super time with your family!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
