Hi~ We are a family of 7 (kids 11, 9 ,5 and 3 year old twins) and we are planning our trip to Disney March 20-26. I am really nervous about the weather as well as crowds. Does this time frame fall during spring break? Thank you!

Hi Kristyn! My family often travels to Walt Disney World Resort in early to mid-March for Spring Break, because our children are in Continuous Calendar schools.  We have been pleasantly surprised at how many other families are on Spring Break when we visit. Spring Breaks are usually planned around/near Easter, however that is not the case for many US schools.  The great news is that it is not too many, so the Parks are manageable. With Easter being in late April this year, I would suspect that many Spring Breaks will move to  a little later in March through April, but there is no guarantee.

We also enjoy our March visit because of the nice weather. It can be cooler in the Mornings and Evenings, so we dress in layers. I would recommend that you bring ponchos for everyone in your family and 2 extra for the twins' stroller.  It is nice to cover the stroller on rainy days and store warm, dry items under the stroller. I must admit, we miss our stroller during our visits (LOL!), so we have used the lockers at the Parks to store our extra layers, jackets, etc.

I know that you will have a wonderful visit. Happy Planning!
