Family of 5 our kids are 15,12,&9 . We have stayed deluxe on previous trips. This time trying to save $ and stay at a moderate resort. Looked at C. Beach but I am leaning towards POR. Can you recommend specific room choices close to bus, pool, & ma

    Hello, Luann,

My family of 5 has stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside as it works very well for our family size while keeping us on a budget. When we stayed, we were always very happy in the rooms in building 14 and also felt the rooms in buildings 15 and 18 were also good.  All of three of these buildings are close to main building and pool as well as a bus stop.

One reason I like building 14 the best is because some of the rooms have garden views or river views that are quite lovely. If you'd prefer a pool view room, building 18 has some rooms with those views. I should share that these rooms in both buildings are preferred rooms. If you'd like a standard room, building 15 is still close to everything, but the views are most likely of other buildings or a parking lot.

To help you explore specific rooms, I'd encourage you to visit www.touringplans.com and do a search for View of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. This room finder will allow you to see the views from each individual room in the resort; it is pretty amazing! By doing this, you'll likely find the rooms you'd prefer.

Thank you for your question and please let us know if we can help again.
