We are a family of 5. Our kids are 9,6 & 20 months. We are staying with family and are only going to disney world for 1 day. We have no idea what to do,what to see or what We'll be able to do in one day. Any guidance is appreciated!

Hi Corrie from the state of the World Champion NY Giants! :-)

If I had just 1 day at Disney World, I would absolutely spend that day at the Magic Kingdom park. It is a massive park that has a little of everything for every age. Children, adults, and big kids like myself, can find oodles to do here! :-)

You can start your day off on Main Street, enjoying all the sites and sounds there is to offer there. It's a premium area for taking pictures, watching parades, and eating (Main Street Bakery anyone?)

You can then shift over to Adventureland, where they have Pirates of the Caribbean ride and Magic Carpets of Aladdin. You also can become a pirate over at the Pirates League (both for boys and girls).

Then shift over to Frontier Land and catch Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (height restriction at 40"). Also don't forget to get the  pre-historic sized turkey legs at the Turkey Leg cart for a hearty snack.

Next is the Liberty Square with the Haunted Mansion; Fantasy Land, which your 6 year old and 20 month old will love; Tomorrowland, which your 9-year old will love (Tomorrowland Speedway, Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter, to name a few). Then finish back in front of Cinderella's Castle for the fantastic Wishes fireworks show before leaving for the evening.

So give Magic Kingdom a shot. You and your family won't be disappointed!
