My family of 5 (kids 10, 5 & 3) will be making our first trip to DW at the end of June. Are there a lot of rides that tour family can ride together or at least fit three?

How exciting that you will be taking your first trip to Walt Disney World this June! You will be pleased to know that there are many theme park attractions that will accommodate three or four guests riding together and many will seat your entire family. At Magic Kingdom, five people will easily be able to ride "it's a small world", Pirates of the Caribbean, The Jungle Cruise, Splash Mountain, Carousel of Progress, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (2 per seat, but you all should be able to ride on the same train). This is just a sampling of attractions at Disney that will accommodate your entire party. There are attractions that seat two guests, but we just agree to wait on the rest of our party at the exit of the attraction. Disney cast members always put us in attraction vehicles right behind each other. Disney thinks of everything and provides families that have youngsters too small to ride certain attractions the rider swap option. Rider Swap is when guests take turns waiting with children too small to ride a certain attraction, then "swap" with another adult guest from their party to experience the ride without standing in line twice. This gives the children that are tall enough to experience the attraction the opportunity to ride with each parent. At Disney World, there are many exciting shows at the parks and we have always been able to sit together as a family when enjoying them. Please write back if I can answer any other questions for you! I would love to assist you in planning a Magical First Trip to Walt Disney World, Jennifer!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
