Hi there, Julie!
What a magical vacation you have planned for the end of the yEAR and the beginning of the new yEAR! I can't think of a better way to celebrate than at the Walt Disney World Resort. And your Mouseketeers are fantastic ages to experience all the magic and wonder that happens during the holiday season! I know you can't wait to see the joy in their eyes as they take it all in. It won't be long now!
Julie, one of my favorite times to be in the theme parks is at night during the holidays. There's just something extra special about this time of day. Since the theme parks will be closing late during your visit, I like your idea to head back to your house for some rest before the evening hours. Your
theme park tickets will allow you to reenter if you decide to leave and come back. A Standard Theme Park Ticket is good for one theme park per day, which means you'll need to return to the same theme park you visited in the morning whereas a Park Hopper Ticket allows you entry into all four theme parks in one day.
As you think about your plan, Julie, it's a good idea to look at
the calendar of events for the day you'll be visiting each park. When you visit
Magic Kingdom, you may want to arrive early, plan your
FastPass+ reservations for late morning/early afternoon (or for when you return in the evening) and leave after enjoying the parade. On December 30 and 31,
Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade is scheduled twice (late morning and afternoon).
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is set to start back on January 1 at 3:00 p.m.
It was a pleasure assisting you, Julie. Please keep up posted with any other questions you may have about your upcoming visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth!"
