My family (3 kids) will be at Disney in mid-April and we are staying at the Port Orleans-Riverside. Right now we have a garden view room but I am wondering if we should change to a pool view room. Which room type is closer to buses? Thanks!

    Hi Jean,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I‘ve stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside two times in the last four years. This hotel has a very nice food court with lots of options to eat even late at night. Your kids will love the pool area, which includes six of them. My favorite one is between buildings 35, 36 and 39 because is considered a quiet pool. My family and I really enjoyed some many pool times there after a long day at the theme parks.  What I love about this hotel is the fact that, it's always calm and kind of empty. You can have some quiet time even staying inside WDW. If you are looking for staying near the bus station, my recommendations are buildings 14 and 15 at Alligator Bayou . At Magnolia Bend the best buildings are number 90 e 95. It’s not about the view, but what matters, when it comes to  transportation, is the building that you are staying in. You can find specific recommendations on which hotel rooms are the best for you at Touring Plans. Have a wonderful vacation!

    Warm hugs.
