My family (kids 2 & 7) will be arriving to the resort around 8:30pm on May 26th after flying all day. Am I crazy for thinking maybe we could catch one of the night shows? fantasmic? About how long will it take to get there from AS Sports resort? Thank

    Tracy,

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel!  I personally think you should wait and get a good rest and head into the parks the next day refreshed!  Your kids may be tired after a long day of flying, especially the 2 year old. It would also be a "waste" of a park entrance, in my opinion, but obviously you know your kids the best. Based on the hours posted for Disney's Hollywood Studios for that day, you will not be able to make Fantasmic! but there are Extra Magic Hours posted for that night at Magic Kingdom, so use your judgement on whether you would like to head over there to try to catch Wishes (fireworks show).

I will say that in the past, I have stayed at the value resorts and every once in awhile I happen to have a room with a slight distant view of the fireworks from Epcot's Illuminations or the Magic Kingdom. While I can't guarantee that would happen, it might be a nice little surprise in case the little ones are exhausted!

The bus ride from All Star Sports Resort to the Magic Kingdom is about 30 minutes. Again, the park hours posted are subject to change without notice as it gets closer.

    Have a magical time!
