Aloha Amy!
I am so excited to hEAR you have an upcoming stay next June at one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resorts,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. White sandy beaches, swaying palm trees, glowing tiki torches, and traditional Polynesian music all conspire to transport you to a tropical and exotic paradise. It's definitely one of the best places to stay during any visit to Walt Disney World!
Amy, if you are trying to decide between a
Standard View Room at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort versus a
Deluxe Studio - Standard View at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, I would be pleased to help you out. The main differences between these two accommodations relate to the bedding arrangements and the kitchenette amenities.
When traveling with a family of five, including three tween/teens, a Standard View Room at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort will feature two Queen Size Beds as well as a Twin Day Bed. In contrast, the Deluxe Studio at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows will feature one Queen Bed, one Queen-Size Sleeper Sofa, and one Twin-Size pull-down bed.
The other main difference is that the Deluxe Studio at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows features a small kitchenette complete with mini bar refrigerator (similar to the one you would find in the Standard View Room at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort), as well as a small kitchenette sink, microwave, and toaster. For the benefit of these added amenities, as well as the option of folding up the Queen-Sized Sleeper Sofa for more daytime living space, my personal preference would be a Deluxe Studio.
Magically Yours,
Trish
