Our family of 5 (kids ages 6, 4, and 1) are going to Disney for the first time the last week in February. We are deciding between a room at Caribbean Beach Resort vs. suite at Art of Animation. Please help! Currently we r booked at CBR.

    Hi Kim,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How exciting to be planning your first vacation to Walt Disney World! You are considering two lovely resorts, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. I am going to recommend that you chose Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Let me explain why.

My main reason for this recommendation is that you said you are considering a family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. I am always in favor of more space, especially for a family with young children. If they need to nap, or go to sleep early at night, they can be in a separate room from you. A family suite offers two bathrooms as well as a kitchenette. I think that the functionality of a family suite for a young family will be better than a hotel room.

Disney's Art of Animation also has a theme that appeals well to the littlest of guests, with animated themes that are larger than life. The Big Blue Pool features a zero-depth entry pool, as well as Schoolyard Sprayground water play area and Squirt's Righteous Reef playground. There are other pools at the resort as well.

I hope that this information is helpful for you in making your decision, Kim. Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
