Hi Stacie! I love helping first time guests plan their Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
One of my family’s favorite parks to visit is
Epcot. There are so many things to do that guests of all ages enjoy all of the sights and attractions that Epcot has to offer. My children love spending time in the Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion. They love watching the sting-rays swim, seeing the dolphins play, and even trying to find Sea Turtles gliding through the water. If your children are 40in or taller and are looking for an adventure, Test Track Presented by Chevrolet is the ride for all of you. Test Track lets you design your own car and test it out in a six person simulation vehicle. We also really enjoy walking around World Showcase. The kids enjoy spending time at the Kidcot Fun Stops learning about the different countries and their culture. We also love to walk around and sample some of the delicious offerings in the different countries. Our favorite place to grab a quick and delicious meal is at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop located in the United Kingdom Pavilion. The fish and chips really hit the spot and we usually find ourselves going back for more! IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth is a great way to end your evening. This fireworks show takes my breath away.
Lastly we really love dining with the characters. Some of our favorite places are Chef Mickey’s in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, The Garden Grill at Epcot, and Donald’s Dining Safari at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You will find classic characters at these restaurants such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Chip & Dale. Just a reminder, advanced dining reservations are strongly recommended and characters are subject to change without notice.
I hope that you and your family have a magical vacation!
