We are a family of 5 (3 kids age 6,4,&2) and are lucky enough to have my aunt come with us to disney this summer. Is it better to get 2 rooms at a cheaper hotel or a larger suite (1room) for all of us. Where should we stay?

    Hello Elizabeth,

You have certainly come to the right place with your inquiry on where to stay. All of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel love helping other guests with our recommendations and tips. Deciding on a resort hotel is one of the integral first steps in planning your Walt Disney World vacation.

Since there will be 6 of you, I would highly recommend a family suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This hotel is based on the animation of 4 classic Disney films, The Lion King, Cars, Finding Nemo and The Little Mermaid. The family suites (available in all sections except Little Mermaid) consist of a bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchenette, a dining area that converts to a sleeping area by way of a murphy bed and a sitting area. These rooms are spacious and would offer the perfect scenario for your family. Because of the 2 bathrooms, this could offer some privacy for your aunt. These family suites are in a value category resort, so the price is quite economical in my opinion.

Other great aspects of this resort is the main pool area, Big Blue Pool, the largest on property at Walt Disney World. It includes a zero-entry heated pool, splash area, and state of the art technology where you can hear music underwater! Another pool is themed to the Cozy Cone Inn from Cars and cabanas are in the shape of giant traffic cones. The details of this resort are quite phenomenal and some of the best I have ever seen in any of the resorts.

I hope this helps in your magical decision making! Feel free to stop back by with more questions as your planning continues.
