My family keeps Kosher, are there a lot of Kosher options at the parks, or should we pack food?

    Hi Sonia,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

My good friend Jason K. also keeps Kosher and he has several wonderful tips for families who wish to keep Kosher during their visits to Walt Disney World Resort. Although you can absolutely choose to bring your own food with you (so long as it abides by the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and, for example, isn’t packed with loose ice or in glass containers), you’ll see that you have several Disney Dining options available to you, including Mickey Premium Ice Cream bars!

If you ask what your Kosher dining options are at any location, the Cast Member will be happy to assist you in making choices that are right for your family. At most table service locations, however, if you’d like to purchase a full Kosher meal, you might need to do so at least 24 hours in advance by emailing email special.diets@disneyworld.com or calling 407-WDW-DINE to make your request.

Plus, from what I understand, there are some counter service locations that do have Kosher meals available on demand, including my absolute favourite place to grab a quick bite, Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
