Hi there! We have family in FL. who would like to join us a few days in the parks as well as meals. Will we be able to sit with our family members if we are on dinning plan? Can we just ask for 2 checks? When making reservations do I ask for x many people?

Hi Brenda, Absolutely! My Dad lives in Florida and often joins us for parts of our Disney vacations.

You'll want to make Advanced Dining Reservations for the total number of people that you want to dine with (including your Florida family). Once you are seated, you'll inform your server that you'll need separate checks and point out who is on the Disney Dining Plan. This won't be a problem at all, as they often have Grand Gatherings involving multiple families, all paying different ways.

Have a wonderful vacation with your family,
