    I have a family of 5 and am interested in purchasing annual passes but was wondering if my father could get us a military discount? Would we be able to use them even if he didn't go to Disney with us?

    Hi Robin!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to help you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Active and retired members of the U.S. military can purchase up to six Disney Military Promotional Tickets to be used for their family vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. To use these tickets, the primary military member must be part of traveling party to activate the tickets at Walt Disney World Resort. So if your father isn't planning on joining you on vacation, you will not be able to use these tickets for your trip.

    Annual Passes are another great option that you can choose for your vacation that will allow you to enjoy Walt Disney World Resort for an entire year! If you are considering Annual Passes, keep in mind that you will be eligible for some awesome Annual Passholder discounts and benefits during your trip. The dining discount and the merchandise discount are my two favorite benefits of being an Annual Passholder and they will enable you to save quite a bit of money that can go towards extra Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars, Dole Whips and souvenEARs!
