My family and I are interested in mini golf at Winter Summerland on our upcoming April trip. I noticed that Blizzard Beach will be closed during that time so the buses won’t be stopping there. Is there any way to get there without having to pay for a taxi?

Hey there, Michelle, and welcome to planDisney! It’s exciting to see you here putting a few last planning touches on your upcoming Disney Vacation! Miniature Golf is one of the few activities my family has yet to partake in as part of our visits. Winter Summerland Miniature Golf looks pretty cool, and I’m definitely adding it to the itinerary for my next trip. We can be a little competitive, so the winner will get an extra Disney Snack! That’s plenty of motivation in my house!

Michelle, this is a Disney Vacation so let Disney Bus Transportation handle all of the driving! No need to summon a taxi or rideshare. Without knowing your specific Disney Resorts Collection hotel, it’s difficult to tell you exactly how to get to Winter Summerland. However, according to the My Disney Experience App, there is a Disney Bus to Blizzard Beach Water Park from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. So you should be able to ride the Resort bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and transferring to the Blizzard Beach bus. The Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course will be a short walk from the Blizzard Beach bus drop-off location.

The My Disney Experience App is the best way to find specific directions from your Resort Hotel. You can follow the steps below to find directions in the app:

    • Open the My Disney Experience App on your mobile device
    • Select the Magnifying Glass icon at the bottom of the screen
    • Search for your destination (Winter Summerland Miniature Golf in this case)
    • Click “Get Directions”
    • Enter your starting location, and the app will display your travel options

I hope this helps, Michelle! Your visit is sure to be a hole-in-one! Wow… that was definitely a dad joke!

    Until Next Time,
