My family is interested in the Dining Plan, however, we are not large eaters. Does everyone in the party have purchase the Disney Dining Plan or can one or two members of our family purchase it? Thank you!

    Hi Melanie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love adding one of the Disney dining plans to a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's a great way to enjoy many of the dining experiences on your "must-do" list during your trip. Plus, I love the fact that we can eat incredible meals, but we don't have to worry about the cost of each individual meal as the majority of our dining expenses are paid in advance of our vacation!

When adding one of the Disney dining plans to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, your dining plan will be attached to your Disney Resort hotel reservation. This means that you will automatically receive one set of dining entitlements, based on the specific dining plan you choose, per person on your reservation per night of your reservation. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to add a dining plan for only a portion of the people on your hotel reservation.

If your family does not eat large portions, I think a good option is to enjoy the standard Disney Dining Plan during your vacation. This will give you one table service entitlement, one quick service entitlement and two snack entitlements for each person on your reservation, for night of your trip. Keep in mind that you have the flexibility to use your entitlements however you choose throughout your vacation and you aren't restricted to use one set of entitlements per day. So you can plan to enjoy one larger table service meal during your day and then use snacks and your quick service meal for the rest of that day's meals. And I like to use any remaining snack entitlements that we have at the end of our vacation for treats to take home as souvenEARs!

Let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
