Hiya, Ashley,
Oh! If only our little Mouseketeers would never grow up. Sailing aboard the Disney Cruise Line helps us all remain young at heart. However, there are still some age limits that are strictly enforced. That is the case for what is referred to as reserved programming in the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab. During those hours, only registered children 3 to 10 years of age will be allowed to remain in the Club or Lab space. Children who are 11 to 14 years old may register for exclusive activities and events in the Edge youth club.
Siblings and friends not in the same age range for the respective youth clubs may still enjoy time together in those spaces during Open House hours. Check the schedules in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to find out when there will be Open House times in the Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab, Edge, and even Vibe. During those times, children of any age, yes even parents, can visit the space to enjoy the amazing experiences designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. There are often special activities, including special character meetings, scheduled during those Open House times too.
When Open House times aren't available and your children still want to remain together rather than in age-specific reserved programming in their separate youth clubs, there are still plenty of onboard activities to enjoy. From swimming and sliding, to animation, karaoke and trivia, to movies and favorite characters, there is always something special to occupy their time together on your Disney Cruise ship.
I hope you and your little ones have a magical cruise, Ashley. Please visit us again at planDisney if there is anything else we can help answer as you get ready for a wonderful adventure on the seas.
