My family and in-laws will be making a trip to DW Dec. 31- Jan 7. There are five kids, ages 2 to 5. I was wondering what the weather (temp) will be like and since we will be there New Years Eve, will there be some special fireworks show that we could atte

    Hi Brittany!

While temperatures will usually range between low 70s during the day and low 50s at night, I can tell you that I was at Disney last December when it was record breaking low temperatures for Florida.  Some nights were in the high 20s!  My friends and I were not prepared so Disney made a lot of money off of us!  Not that I'm complaining...I now have the cutest hat, glove and scarf set ever seen!!!  Who knows what it will be like this year, but be ready to LAYER your clothes.

New Year's Eve at Disney World is very busy so definitely expect crowds, but it's also a big party atmosphere!  Wherever you choose to be at midnight will be spectacular.  While Magic Kingdom is my #1 choice for midnight fireworks, Hollywood Studios and Epcot offer fireworks shows that are just as amazing.

I hope you have a magical time on your vacation.  The best to you in the new year...you're sure starting it out right:)

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
