Hi Shelley,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One day, one park - let us make it happen!
At Magic Kingdom, I would review the
attractions list as well as the list of
character and entertainment experiences. Start with your three initial
Fast Pass+ selections during the early morning hours. If park opening is at 9:00 a.m., I would schedule our Fast Pass+ selections for 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. and from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon. For those selections, I would pick Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. Other attractions I would include: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tomorrowland Speedway, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and Peter Pan's Flight.
I would also suggest that you do at least one character dining experience. Our girls adore Cinderella's Royal Table and The Crystal Palace. If you need an autograph from Mickey Mouse and the gang, hop on the resort monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort and dine at Chef Mickey's. On our last visit, Minnie Mouse was quite charming! Know also that you can walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort from Magic Kingdom. It is about a 10 minute walk. To save time, I definitely suggest that you walk back rather than taking the resort monorail. The monorail makes several stops on the return to Magic Kingdom. Also, since it looks as if you are visiting during an extremely busy time of year, be careful with leaving the park when it might reach capacity.
Shelley, to end the evening I do hope you get to view the fireworks. By far, this is my family's perfect way to end the day!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
