Hi Thea,
Welcome to planDisney!
I am so happy to see you making
advanced dining reservations! When you make those reservations, you do need to include everyone in your party, including the toddler who might need a high chair. I know that it may be harder to secure reservations for a party of five. Keep looking. Cancelations do happen!
If you can only get a reservation for four, the restaurant may be able to accommodate your party, but it is not guaranteed. You could also try searching for reservations for a party of three and a party of two at around the same time. If you do book two separate reservations for the same meal period, you need to list another member of your party as the lead Guest on one of the dining reservations.
Since you will have several little ones with you, I do hope you plan to do a few character meals. Our favorite character dining experience is breakfast at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. One of our daughters is a visual artist so she loves seeing the characters dressed in their artistic best.
As you search for reservations, remember that there are restaurants in the resort hotels so you may have more options than you are considering. My family loves Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The walking path to Magic Kingdom is fantastic. We also adore dining at the Grand Floridian Cafe and, at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. So, take a few moments to see if there are dining experiences that would delight your kids.
Of course, any sighting of Mickey and Minnie Mouse is noted. We are ready for them to return to the magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
