    I have a family of 6. I'd like help making a reservation

Ahoy, Carol! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sailing over with your question about Disney Cruise Line.

Unfortunately, planDisney cannot help you book your specific cruise reservation because our panelists are not travel agents, but rather guests just like you who love traveling with Disney and help answer questions for other guests based on our own experiences. However, I would love to provide you with a few tips to point you in the right direction and set you up for smooth sailing as you plan your family’s next vacation.

Disney Cruise Line has so many different offerings that I know it can be overwhelming at first, but the “Plan a Cruise” feature on the website allows you to narrow down the choices based on a number of factors. You can follow these steps to find your perfect sailing:

    • Start by clicking on the “Plan a Cruise” tab at the top of the main website.
    • Then click on the white box at the left labeled “Leaving” and choose your preferred months.
    • You can narrow down your search further by choosing your desired destination under “Sailing to” or your planned departure port under “Departing from.”
    • You can also indicate whether you want a particular themed cruise, a certain number of nights, or a specific ship by clicking on “More Filters” on the right side.
    • Once you have all of your preferred filters in place, click on the blue “View Dates” button to see the available itineraries that meet your requirements.
    • After you click on your desired itinerary, you will be able to pick a particular sailing date and see your stateroom booking options.

Disney Cruise Line offers four different main stateroom types: Inside, Oceanview, Verandah, and Concierge. Keep in mind that most of the staterooms in the Disney fleet are designed to sleep a maximum of five guests, but there are a limited number of suites in the Concierge category that would be able to accommodate your entire family of six together in one stateroom. If a suite isn’t exactly what you had in mind, then you can also book connecting staterooms to keep everyone together.

Once you know which sailing you would like to book, you can always call Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532 for assistance with making your reservation. Cast members are available to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST.

If you have any other specific questions about sailing where magic meets the sea, then please reach back out to us at planDisney. Happy sailing!
