We were in room 4353 which was a corner room (two windows) in the Jamaica section of the
Caribbean Beach resort. I found it a very quiet location. The layout of the resort with courtyards and meandering paths gives the impression of a being quaint despite its vast size. We did not find the exterior corridors to be noisy at all. In fact, I notice more noise from the hallways when staying at the deluxe hotels with interior corridors. I think the doors at the resorts with exterior corridors are more soundproof.
For an area close to transportation, I would suggest the following:
Building 45 and 46 in Jamaica would give you easier access to the bridge over to Old Port Royale where you will find the themed pool and food court. There is also a nearby bus stop, quiet pool, playground, beach and laundry room.
In Trinidad South, buildings 36 and 37 put you very near the bus stop. You’ll also be close to the laundry room, playground, beach and quiet pool.
Both areas above would be quieter than being close to the themed pool and food court at Old Port Royale.
For premium rooms (which cost more) near Old Port Royale, Martinique’s buildings 25 and 26 are nearest the bus stop. Trinidad North’s building 33 puts you close to the bus stop in that area, along with being near the laundry room, quiet pool and beach.
Enjoy your stay at this beautiful resort!
