Welcome to planDisney, Denise!
How exciting that your family will be visiting The Happiest Place on Earth. What a "practically perfect" way to end the year. You'll be pleased to know that there are many wonderful quick-service restaurants to eat at throughout the Disneyland Resort. Let me share with you some of my favorites:
Disneyland Park
Bengal Barbecue - The portion sizes here aren't massive, to be honest. However, the food is very tasty. I've tasted nearly everything on this menu, Denise. My top picks would be the Banyan Beef Skewer, the Chieftain Chicken Skewer, the Outback Vegetable Skewer, the Safari Skewer, and the Pineapple Spear.
Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo - Eating at this restaurant is like stepping into a galaxy far, far away. my favorite item is the Felucian Kefta & Hummus Garden Spread.
French Market Restaurant - Located in New Orleans Square, the food here is delicious. I enjoyed the Jambalaya the last time I visited. You're also super close to the Mint Julip Bar. And that can only mean one thing: Mickey beignets!
Disney California Adventure ParkFlo's V8 Cafe - You'll feel like you're at the heart of Radiator Springs at this restaurant. There's nothing flashy about this place (besides the cool, neon lights at night). However, it does a pretty decent burger and some tasty fried chicken
Paradise Garden Grill - Everything on the menu here is pretty decent. Plus, Mirabel from Encanto is meeting Guests close by.
Pym Test Kitchen - The best thing about this restaurant is the theming. The food is fine, but you're really going for the experience. Where else can you enjoy a Quantum Pretzel, Ever-expanding Cinna-Pym Toast, and (my favorite) a Celestial-sized Candy Bar?
One more thing, Denise. Make sure you utilize the
Mobile Food & Beverage Order service. You can order your food ahead of time using your Disneyland Mobile App so that you don't have to wait as long for your food. It's really convenient!
I hope that's helpful, Denise! Have a great trip and thanks for stopping by planDisney.
