My family (me, my husband, three daughters -ages 11,8, & 5, and my son-age 7) are getting ready to head to WDW in June. It will be the first visit for all of us. What would be the best dining option for us? I would love assistance in general. Overwhelm

    Hi Christina,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are so excited for you to be embarking on your first visit to Walt Disney World. I can definitely help you out with dining options, however I'm not sure of your question as it was cut off. I can tell you the parks and resort hotels offer what's called "quick service" and "table service" locations. Most Table Service accept Advance Dining Reservations (which are strongly encouraged) and you'll be seated at a table, served by a Cast Member. Quick Service locations allow you to walk up to the main counter, order your food on a tray and seat yourself. No reservations are accepted.

I'm attaching a link to the dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort. Many families select a character dining experience. Select characters will visit each table and interact with your family. Disney Parks and Resorts offers about a dozen different options for character meals, so check out the above link provided to learn about them. In my opinion, the price of the meal is well worth the interaction and photo opportunities!

To make Advance Dining Reservations, you'll want to click on the above link to do so online or call 407-WDW-DINE, 407-939-3463.

What other questions can I answer, Christina? I'm happy to help.
