me and my family (husband, son 3,and in-laws) is staying at the CBR and want to make reservations for chef mickey for breakfast. what is the fastest way to get to the resturant from ours and what is the best time to dine for breakfast. Thanks

    Hi Crystal!

Any time is a great time to dine at Chef Mickey's!  It's my son's favorite Character Dining Experience at Walt Disney World.  That said, I suggest getting the very first reservation time if you can get your family up that early.  That's because the best time to visit the theme parks is early in the morning when some guests are still sleeping; the theme parks are much more crowded in the afternoons.  Thus I recommend having an early morning breakfast and then going into the parks.

The opposite, however, would also work which is to get the last reservation for Chef Mickey's.  Then you could go to the Magic Kingdom first thing in the morning and then walk over to the Contemporary Resort when it's time to go to Chef Mickey's.

From the Caribbean Beach Resort, the best way to get to Chef Mickey's is to take a taxi straight to the Contemporary Resort.  Using Disney transportation, you would take a bus to the Magic Kingdom.  The bus stop is outside the Magic Kingdom, so you don't need a theme park ticket.  Then you can just walk (fastest) or take the Resort Monorail (slowest because it heads to the other resorts first) to the Contemporary.

Have a great time at Chef Mickey's!
