    Hi, my family (husband, son 10 and daughter 7) are staying at Art of Animation in September for our first Disney experience. I was wondering if in line skates are allowed at the resort?

    Hi Molly:

    A first vacation to Walt Disney World is wonderful.  Enjoy this experience.

    Disney World does not permit wheeled items in the parks or resorts other than strollers, wheelchairs, EVCs and certain sized coolers.  While there are jogging trails and places to bike ride, Disney will not permit skating on property.  I would leave the skates at home.  There will be so much fun and positive distractions while at Disney World that your family can enjoy the vacation and look forward to skating when you return home.
