Hello! My family (my husband and I, my parents, and our boys, 3 and 5) are booked at Wilderness Lodge Villas in early December. Our plans include Mickey's BBQ and MVMCP. Do you suggest Ohana or Chef Mickey for a breakfast on departure day?

Hey there Nicole and welcome to the Moms Panel!  I just LOVE dining at Disney, so you are certainly speaking my language in your question!

You have great taste, because you have chosen two of the most popular dining experiences for you departure day breakfast.  While I adore both dining experiences you've mentioned, I think I would choose 'Ohana for the final meal simply because it's a more intimate and relaxed setting in which you and your family will be able to sit back and reflect on your special vacation.  Not to mention, the theme at this restaurant is "Family" because 'Ohana means family.  The meal will consist of breakfast favorites served family style and you'll be able to help yourselves to all you care to eat!

'Ohana is an island paradise amidst the beauty and splendor of the Polynesian Resort.  The island-inspired music always calms me and the character interaction here is always laid back and never rushed!  We really love Lilo and Stitch and you'll also get the opportunity to bid farewell to Mickey and some of his closest buddies before heading home!

Chef Mickey's is also fabulous, but is much more fast-paced and energetic!  I just like the fact that my family can enjoy our last meal together in it's entirety without having to deal with getting up and down for the buffet.  I guess it really depends on what you're looking for, but I can say that you can't go wrong with either choice!

    Best Wishes,
