Hi there, Jenni!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad that you found us while planning your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Planning your vacation is just the beginning of what will be a memorable vacation and I am so excited for you and your family! Your four-year old is at the perfect age to experience everything magical that awaits you in Orlando and you will really enjoy experiencing it alongside your Mouseketeer!
I love that you are considering staying at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort! My family is a BIG fan of this Resort and its larger-than-life movie scenes, HUGE pool and now with access to the
Disney Skyliner, we can’t wait to go back! While the Little Mermaid Standard Room does have both a 2 Double Bed and a King-Sized Bed option, due to your travel party size you would automatically be assigned a room with 2 Double Beds. Unfortunately, rollaway beds are not available at this Resort for Guest use or request. But, from my past experiences from visiting the theme parks, at the end of a long day, you are really just happy for your head to be on a pillow! I often think that some of my best nights of sleep are after theme park days, no matter the bed size!
Jenni, once you get your accommodations booked, start planning your advanced dining reservations, and begin thinking about how you want to plan out your days. As a Guest of a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will have access to booking your FastPass+ selections 60-days prior to your visit, and, don’t forget about my favorite amenity –
Extra Magic Hours! Check the
park hours calendar to see the what’s planned for the time you will be there!
Wishing you a magical vacation with many restful nights!
Stephanie
