we are a family of 4 my husband me and 2 little girls ages 5 and 6 and are staying in a standered room at akl,is it still a nice room we will just be sleeping there and do we still get to see all the animals?will we get alot of nice pictures here?

Angela you will find the standard rooms in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge quite lovely. A small refrigerator, double sinks, a daybed, and a private balcony in a spacious room make for a wonderful place to sleep.

The lobby has thatched ceilings, African artifacts, and a bridge. Step outside to see Arusha Rock. From this viewing rock platform you will see exotic safari animals roaming the savanna. Snap as many pictures as you like from this vantage point. The savanna scene is different depending on the time of day or night so you might wish to check it out at various times during your stay.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has two restaurants that offer interesting fare with an exotic, African flair- Jiko-the Cooking Place and Boma which offers a buffet.

With giraffes, zebras, and gazelles on the grounds it would be hard to find a hotel that is more enticing and unique. Enjoy your stay!
