We are a family of 5 (me, hubby, girl (3), boy(4), boy(6), wondering if there are rides we can't all ride together because we won't have an adult for one of the kids? We want to be able to do things together mostly and not have to use the rider swap often?

    Hi Ashley!

Congratulations on your big upcoming magical Disney vacation!  You have a great question, one that I have a lot of experience with due to having a large family myself.

There are four children in my family and we have never had a problem experiencing a ride because the adults were outnumbered by the children.  My husband and I refer to it as going into "Zone Defense" when we are out with our children because they outnumber us.  In fact, often times in Walt Disney World my husband will take the 3 older children on a ride by himself while I tend to our youngest child.

If you are unsure the best way to load onto a particular ride, the Cast Members are there to help you out.  Many of the seats are bench style and will allow one adult to ride along with two smaller children.  If the ride only allows two in each row, then I like to have two children sit directly in front of my row.

Just remember the Cast Members are there to help you have fun and be safe.  They are excellent resources and can offer assistance when you need it.

I hope this helps you plan your park touring strategy Ashley.  If you have any more questions please come back and ask them here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We love to help with Disney vacation planning!

    Blessings,
