Hi, my family will be at HS on June 4. My DS 11 is a serious Star Wars fan and wants to know if Star Tours will be up and running. Also, what else would he enjoy most on Star Wars weekend? Thanks so much for your help.

    Hi Rebecca!

My son and I went to our first Star Wars Weekends in May of 2010 and we absolutely loved it. If you get to Hollywood Studios early, then you will get to see the Storm Troopers put on a show on the roof of the ticket gates (trust me this amazing show is not to be missed).

As far as what not to miss, I would recommend that you see the Star Wars Parade in the afternoon and don't miss the Hyperspace Hoopla in the evening. Sign up for Jedi Training Academy first thing in the morning because it is extra special during Star Wars Weekends! Also have fun with the Star Wars Characters that are walking around all throughout the day and special Character photo opportunities throughout the Park. There will be special celebrity signings, special shows and discussions, and Star Wars merchandise. I think that the hardest part will be picking what you want to do and you may want to spend more than one day with your son enjoying Star Wars Weekends in Hollywood Studios!

May the Force be with you and your son as you discover Star Wars Weekends in Hollywood Studios!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
