My family of 3 will be at Hollywood Studios on 5/23. I’m planning for us to spend all afternoon at Galaxy’s Edge. Is it better to join the virtual queue at 7am or is it okay to wait until it opens again at 1pm? Which gives us the best chance of riding

    Bright Suns, Sarah!

We are relieved to hear that you shall soon arrive to join the Resistance. Our forces on Batuu have been courageously awaiting your arrival. We are honored to know that you bring your skills to restoring intergalactic peace.

Prior to embarking on your interstellar journey, make sure that you have reserved planetary passes for everyone in your party. Given the speed at which the virtual queue reaches capacity, I strongly encourage you to try at 7:00 a.m. If you are unable to join the virtual queue in the morning, try again at 1:00 p.m. As you may suspect, if you successfully secure a spot at 7:00 a.m., your chances are strong to confront and escape the First Order.

In planning your afternoon, I trust that you intend to commit to the Cause under the watchful guidance of the Gatherers at Savi's Workshop. When my husband, girls and I committed, we chose our lightsabers carefully and forged the bonds we needed to defeat the First Order. On each visit, we love to meet-up with other allies at Oga's Cantina and take a few precious minutes to recharge before accepting our mission on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

With your crew of Jedi-in-Training, I encourage you to sneak a peek at the lightsaber collection in Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. On our most recent visit, we waited patiently with other weary travelers to get a glimpse. And we stopped by Droid Depot at Black Spire Outpost to build droids. Given our prior encounters with First Order Operatives, we welcomed the opportunity to expand the capabilities of our Resistance allies.

Sarah, I can sense your determination and resilience. May the Force be with you as you finalize your travel preparations. We look forward to your swift arrival!

    Good journey,
