My family is heading to WDW in May. We've been thinking of taking our 6 and 2 year old to Mickey's BBQ. My worry is that it will be too much for our 2 year old who is very busy. Is this a dinner for all ages? What kind of character interaction is there

Hi Jennifer!  Mickey's Backyard Barbecue is just the character dining experience for active toddlers and young children!

It is actually more like a big picnic and it is held in an open air pavilion at Fort Wilderness.  There is a country band, plenty of games for the kids, great food, and of course Disney characters!  Lots of dancing takes place with a few lessons thrown in for the fun of it. It is truly a photo opportunity to get Goofy and friends doing a line dance with all the younger guests!  Needless to say, it is hard to get the kids to sit down and eat because of all the fun going on around them.  For an active 2 year old this is definitely the place to be!
