Family heading to WDW 4/09, 3 kids(10,6,2) and hubby too! Staying at CS because CBR was booked. Where would be a good location to request in the resort. Would like to have a remodeled room. Will have car, so prefer to be close to pool rather than food.

    Hi Emily!

Welcome to the Moms Panel and thank you for your question!  I don't think you'll be disappointed with Coronado Springs Resort, it is my favorite moderate.

I was lucky enough to stay in one of the refurbished rooms and they are gorgeous!  For your stay in April, I would suggest that you add a request to your reservation for either Cabanas 8B or 8A.  The refurbishments are scheduled to be completed before then, so your timing is perfect!  I would have the reservationist make a note on your reservation that you would prefer a refurbished room.  Of course they are requests and cannot be guaranteed.

The Dig Site (which includes the Lost City of Cibola feature pool, playground, arcade and Siestas Cantina bar) is nearby to those buildings, as well as convenient parking.

    Have a great trip!
