Hi! My family of 4 is heading to WDW in 11 days! As I am attempting to plan ahead for extra snack type foods (we have the dining plan), I am wondering if any resort shops or food carts offer an apple, banana or carrot sticks as an option?

I think you'll find that you might not need any "extra" snacks while you're using the dining plan, Gordon; that's a lot of food!  With that said, though, I am happy to report that you can indeed find fresh fruit and carrot sticks at multiple locations.  The first one to come to mind is the Harambe Fruit Market at Animal Kingdom.  They offer a wide selection of healthy treats including fresh fruit and carrot and celery sticks.  At Magic Kingdom, you'll find a fruit cart tucked into a nook off to your right as you walk toward Cinderella Castle on Main Street.  You'll also find that your kids can order carrot sticks or apple slices instead of french fries at various counter service locations.  I hope that helps!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
