    Hi all, My family of 5 (2adults,3children under7) are heading to WDW August 09 and staying for the week. We plan on seeing all 4 parks..What are some items I might need to bring with us while in park and should I bring a big bag or backpacks for everyone?

    Hi, Rachel!   There are some basics that I suggest you take with you into the parks each day.   Pack your bag with your camera, wet wipes, change of t-shirt for each child, crackers or snacks, autograph books and pens, refillable water bottles, sunscreen, rain ponchos, and make sure each of your kids has either a hat or sunglasses.   

    With such young children, I think you will probably need a double stroller.   You can bring one from home or they are available for rent at all the theme parks.   August is a very hot time of the year, so some time in a shaded stroller compared to walking will really help your little ones deal with the heat!

    Plan to bring just one roomy bag.   I know in my family, I am the one stuck carrying everything.    It sounds like a great idea for each person to have their own stuff, but somehow it always gets "too heavy!" and mom or dad end up carrying around a princess backpack for the day!

    Plan to take afternoon breaks and give your little ones plenty of time to rest in the shade.    Taking breaks will keep everyone happy (including mom and dad!)   Enjoy!
