My family and I are heading out on our second Disney cruise in January. I've reviewed the list of prohibited items and I saw that it included "inflatable floats" and pool noodles. But do beach balls qualify as inflatable floats? Thanks!

    Hi Michelle!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on being Silver Castaway Club Members! It's so exciting that you've booked another magical high-seas adventure with Captain Mickey at the helm! Now you'll have the opportunity to do all the activities you loved during your first cruise and also take part in the new adventures that await you and your family.

It sounds like your family loves having a splashtacular time in the pools onboard! I'm actually onboard the Disney Dream right now, so I was able to ask the Cast Members at the Guest Services Desk whether or not beach balls qualify as inflatable floats. Unfortunately, you may not bring beach balls onboard with you to use in the swimming pools. I do have good news for you, though! If your upcoming itinerary is setting sail to Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, inflatable beach balls are allowed on the island!

Michelle, Captain Mickey can't wait to welcome you and your pirate crew back aboard Disney Cruise Line! If you have any other questions while you prepare for your unforgettable voyage, please come back and visit us again!
