My family and I will be heading out June 10 for a 3 night cruise and I will have my 1 year old with me. Any helpful tips for cruising with an infant? I do not think that cribs are available to rent so sleeping tips would be helpful as well. Thanks!!

    Ahoy Brenda –
Babies have so much fun cruising with Disney Cruise Line! Please do not worry about a thing because when it comes to babies, it will be smooth sailing on board. My 6-year-old is now a veteran sailor, but he got his start as an infant with Disney Cruise Line. Starting with the staterooms, Pack-N-Play cribs are complimentary and can be reserved online at check-in or by calling ahead at (800) 951-3532. Bedrails are also available if you feel the crib is too small, so your little pirate will stay put in bed. I enjoyed the convenience of having a Diaper Genie brought to my stateroom, and guests can also request a bottle warmer or bottle sterilizer from Guest Services if needed. I made sure to reserve plenty of time in the Nursery so that my tiger cub could be free to play and roam (and I could get a minute to myself). I brought my own baby food, but there is a limited supply for sale and the wonderful chefs can puree just about any food on the menu for baby’s delight. Finally, your sea pup will love the infant splash area at Nemo’s Reef so be sure to pack a swimsuit and swim diaper (but remember that babies are not allowed in the pools). Brenda, enjoy this time with your little one and have a fabulous cruise next month!
