My family will be heading to Epcot soon- we plan to park hop and purchase LL multi pass-my husband will not be joining us until later in the day after we have left Epcot. How do I manage the lighting lanes for our group when he scans in late to join us?

    Howdy Sara!

Welcome to planDisney. There is nothing like planning another vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth. The Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a must for our family as it allows us to maximize our time in the parks and plan our day more efficiently. Let’s see what we can do to ensure your family has an amazing day.

Alrighty so you can absolutely make this happen. What you will do is purchase Lightning Lane Multi Passes for everyone in your party, including your husband, starting at EPCOT. Book Lightning Lanes with him included for your first 3 experiences at EPCOT. Since he will not be joining for those, all you will need to do is modify your party and remove him from those selections. From the home screen of the My Disney Experience app, you can either tap on the Lightning Lane Multi Pass screen or go to your tip board. Find the ride, tap on the 3 dots next to it, modify your party by removing him, and then confirm your changes. You can still book him with your group for any Lightning Lanes you would like to experience later in the day and at another park once he arrives. If, for some reason, you run into any issues, I would recommend that you stop by Guest Services, which you can find on the app’s map screen by scrolling to the Guest Services button. You will also see that they are identified in the parks with a giant blue umbrella. The friendly cast members here are super helpful and can assist with any issues that arise.

While y’all are there, there is still time to enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival before it wraps up.  This festival is really special because all of Epcot is decorated with the most amazing gardens and character topiaries.  Our family loves to stroll through the park and take pictures with all of the characters.  There are also lots of festival-exclusive dining options at the kiosks that I know you will love. You can also do a fun scavenger hunt, following Spike the Bee on his pollination trail. Spikes Pollen-Nation Exploration will be sure to keep the whole family busy as a bee. As a matter of fact, my friends Leandra and Michelle made a great video about it that I’m going to add for you to view.

Sara, I hope this helps and that you have a magical time visiting EPCOT. If you have any further questions, please stop back by, and one of my fellow panelists or I will be happy to assist.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
