Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lauren. I’m glad to hEAR you’re interested in giving Chef de France a try during your next trip.
My family and I recently dined at
Chef de France during our trip in July. There were children throughout the dining rooms, and the atmosphere is fairly casual.
Are your children open to trying new cuisine? Are they adventurous? These are a few questions you’ll have to ask yourself. Lauren, even if your children aren’t willing to try escargot, there is a Kids’ Menu with child-friendly choices. My son ordered a “ground beef steak on a Brioche bun” (pretty much a hamburger!) If your children have special dietary needs or requests, I suggest speaking with a chef when you arrive to the restaurant.
For adults, the prix fixe menu is a great option and is reasonably priced for a 3-course meal! I fell in love with their Soupe à Poignon Gratinée (French Onion soup) topped with Gruyère cheese. I can’t wait to visit Epcot again and dine at Chef de France.
I hope this information is helpful for you. I wish you and your family a magical vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort in December, Lauren. Please visit us on the Panel again if you have further questions.
Sending you Pixie Dust,
Kiki
