    My family and I will be heading to Disney in January 2013 for the marathon, but we also want our kids to have a blast. When do the package reservations open up? We already have our room reservered at the animation resort but we want the dining plan as well

    Hi Stacy!  That is the beauty of running at Disney!  You get to participate in an awesome race, and your kids get to have a great time too!

    You should be able to call 407-WDW-IRUN to book your package with the dining plan now.  Here is the information on the travel details page of the Disney World Marathon Website:

    * Each Guest who books through 407-WDW-IRUN and registers for a four (4) or more night stay at a select Walt Disney World® Resort hotel during Marathon Weekend will receive one souvenir runDisney keepsake gift. You can also purchase your race registration and add the Disney Dining Plan to your package when you book.

    Call 407-WDW-IRUN to make your Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend Reservations and to learn more about Disney Resort Guest benefits like complimentary transportation and extended Park hours or to book your Magic Your Way Package.
