My family of 5 is heading to Disney in February of 2015. 1. Will the weather be warm enough in early February or should we pick a different month (we want to go when the park is fairly "quiet").

    Hi Jennifer:

I think you are going at a wonderful time of year to beat crowds and to warm up.  Disney World tends to be more crowded when schools are out of session.  Many schools have winter breaks in February, usually during Presidents Day week, so you may find some crowds if you are traveling that week, but nothing that should be unbearable.

For Florida, Disney may still be "cold" in February with temperatures averaging low 70's during the day and dropping down to the 60's and 50's at night. Of course weather can be unpredictable, so make sure you bring layers in case the weather changes quickly.  And Disney World pools are heated year-round. I'm guessing these temperatures will be much warmer at Disney World than they will be in Ohio.

While I think February is a wonderful month to visit, late September, October, early November, and early December also tend to attract lighter crowds than normal since most schools are in session those months.

    Enjoy your vacation.
