My family will be heading to Disney in February 2024 and plan on having a few dining experiences at popular places such as Cinderella's royal table, akershus, space 220, etc. Are there tables for large groups (11+) at those places? How to book them?

Hi, Beatriz!  Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

One of my favorite things about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is choosing where to dine.  There are so many great restaurants throughout the theme parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs, and it sounds like you have some excellent dining experiences in mind!  Since you're hoping to experience several popular restaurants, be sure to make your dining reservations 60 days in advance.  If you'll be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can make your dining reservations 60 days before your arrival date for your entire trip (up to 10 days).

There are very few tables at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants that are big enough to accommodate groups larger than 8-10 people.  Sometimes if you call the Help Center, a Cast Member can assist you with booking dining reservations for large parties.  However, my friends and I have found a trick that works well for us when we need reservations for a big group of Guests.

My fellow planDisney panelists and I take a yearly trip to Walt Disney World Resort together, so over the years we've gained lots of experience booking dining reservations for large groups.  We book our reservations on the Walt Disney World Resort website, but we split our party up into two or three smaller groups.  So for example, if we have a group of 12, we might make two reservations for six people, or three reservations for four people.  We make sure that our separate reservations are for the same restaurant at around the same time.  If you decide to team up with one or two other Guests in your party to book several smaller reservations, simply let the Cast Members know that your parties are together when you check in for your dining reservations.  While there's no guarantee that your parties will be able to be seated together, in my experience, the Cast Members will do their best to accommodate your request.

I hope that you're able to secure reservations for all of the restaurants that you're looking forward to trying.  If we can answer any additional questions for you, please visit us again.  See ya real soon!
