My family is headed to Disney World in September (11th-17th) and I just saw the hours were released. However, it says Wishes is not happening the entire time we are there. Could that change?

Hi Melissa! I just answered another question from a guest requesting information about this very same thing...the great Wishes fireworks show in September.

It is not uncommon for Disney to delay specifics on their calendars when it is still months ahead. I know that makes planning more difficult but it is still within the 180 day window for reservations. Unless there is something in the works for a huge change to this great show it is unheard of that Disney would not have a fireworks show over the Magic Kingdom each night. September is a month that changes every year with the crowd numbers almost impossible to predict. This might be the cause for the delay as they see how resort reservations are before they decide park hours.

Disney parks have new things happening every day and Disney wants to make sure they have everything in place before posting publicly. New parades and firework shows are now being announced for the Hollywood Studios park starting in April. That means we all must keep checking back to the Disney sites to get the most updated news for all these wonderful events.

You are destined to have a very magical Disney vacation in September with plenty of fireworks to make it special!
