Hi there! My family and I will be headed to Disney World next month, staying at AKL. Can I bring pool floats for the kids? Nothing huge, just small ring floats?

Hello Ryann and thanks for bringing such an important question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I can bet your whole family is getting super excited about your fast approaching stay at the stunningly beautiful African themed Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge next month as it'll be here quite soon in only a hop, skip and a Springbok jump!
All of my own children are happy, splashy water babies and their first activity to enjoy upon arrival at Disney is usually to visit the Resort pool and they particularly love the Pools at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge because the Uzima Springs Pool has an easy zero depth entry and a 67 foot-long water slide.
Disney's Cast Members are simply Wild About Safety and for both Guest safety and convenience you'll find each pool benefits from a selection of complimentary life-vests and usually some pool noodles or similar which all Guests are welcome to use.  I'm also happy to share that Guests may indeed use their own personal floatation devices in Disney Resort Pools or Water Parks if they comply to current US Coast Guard/UL safety standards.
Wishing you a splashtastic upcoming April visit to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
    Have a great Disney day.
