Hi, there!
Welcome back to planDisney, Danielle. We just love when you stop by with your planning questions!
I completely understand how disappointed you and your daughter are. My little girl was hoping for a royal makeover with her very own Fairy Godmother-in-Training for our June visit. We're still wishing on a star that Fairy Godmother will wave her magic wand and the doors to
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will open soon, but if that doesn't happen, we have a plan B. If we're unable to book an appointment at one of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations, we plan on having a do-it-yourself makeover in our Disney Resort hotel room! I'm going to pack her favorite princess gowns and accessories, hair supplies like bobby pins and hairspray, and some sparkly nail polish. It may not be the exact makeover she was hoping for, but I'll try my best to make it one that's worthy of a fairytale!
If you'd prefer to purchase your makeover items
after you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm happy to tell you that you'll find lots of available options. Many retail locations in the theme parks sell beautiful princess gowns, but I recommend heading to
World of Disney at
Disney Springs. There you'll find an incredible selection of gowns and accessories! Most hair supplies can be purchased at your Disney Resort hotel's gift shop, so those items should be super easy to find.
Hoping to buy some official Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique merchandise? Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique spirit jerseys, purses, umbrellas, and ear headbands have been spotted at
Sir Mickey's, a cute little shop just behind Cinderella Castle.
I hope this was helpful, Danielle. Please let us know if you have any other questions! We'd love to help you plan a magical stay.
Ashley
