Hi All! My family and I will be headed to Disney World 3-18-14. I have 3 girls (7,5 and 18 mo) I am a little discouraged as this is last minute. What would be the most memorable thing we could still sign up for? I had hoped to do a character dinner :(

    Hi Tricia,

Please don't be discouraged.  Your daughters will have an amazing Disney vacation creating magical memories you will cherish forever, no matter what you plan.  With a little patience and persistence, you still may be able to reserve your desired dining preference.  I have been lucky enough to snag a coveted reservation up to a week ahead and sometimes even later.  Just make sure you keep looking online or calling Disney Dining daily.

If you are flexible in your character dining, I will suggest a few of my family's favorites which tend not to book up as quickly.  We all love The Garden Grill Restaurant in Epcot's Future World.  The kids love laughing along with Chip 'n Dale's antics and that the restaurant is slowly rotating.  The food is delicious and we love the ever changing views of the Living with the Land attraction.  Another favorite is the Askershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot's World Showcase.  Even my boys find the medieval castle amazing to dine in and enjoy visiting with several of the Disney Princesses.

Best of luck in getting your desired reservations.  Don't lose hope, but remember that your Princesses will love anything you plan for them.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
