My family and I headed to Disney in October for a week. We would like to do character dinners and breakfasts. Also a couple of just fun meals like the SCi-FI drive in theater and at the world showcase. How soon should I start making reservations?

    Hi, Melissa!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit this fall! It’s wonderful to have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation to look forward to, and I’m glad that you’re already thinking about planning all those magical details that will make it memorable.

I think it’s a very good idea to book your Advance Dining Reservations as early as possible, no matter when you plan to visit, so you’ll have the best chance of securing a table at all your top choices. As of now, online dining reservations can be made 180 days prior to your arrival beginning at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. You can make reservations by phone starting at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).

I hope you’re able to dine at all of your favorite Walt Disney World restaurants, Melissa. Have a wonderfully pixie-dusted trip!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
